Many of the ideas, understandings, and truths herein examined are not quickly, easily, or readily communicated. They often require understandings or experience in other related areas. Ideas never "stand alone" or exist in a vacuum. Ideas themselves are never more than snapshots or threads from a much larger tapestry. On this site, you will find snapshots from a dynamic and encompassing systematic theology and world-view.
Some ideas or topics cannot be conveyed purely within a context of narrowly fixed dictionary terms. A new language must develop that may use physical terms and ideas to convey what is tangible, but not really physical. The physical in many ways mirrors the more complex spiritual world, and readily admits a methodology of physical metaphor, while never fully yielding to it.
Spiritual secrets often do not yield to casual inquiry. They often require a foundation of faith. Therefore, you may find some articles in this collection vague, mysterious, or even obscure. True seekers do not give up. Your faith may not be ready for some of these articles or information. Explore with open mind and heart expecting to recieve. You may discover that understanding or insight will come to you later after reading. Read. Try to understand. Then live and experiment. Discuss with others. In time, the initial obscurity will fade and the light will dawn. For what is faith other than knowledge acted upon that develops into experience and an habitual approach to life?
Language based upon experience (yours or someone else's), provides a rudimentary framework which opens mysteries. Thus, language itself, is both path and portal to discovery, as well as the discovered.
In all learning and discovery, there is a relationship between experience, observation and the vocabulary that accompany and arise from these. Each borrows and builds upon the other. Experience and observation demand description and explanation. Description and explanation depict realities and relationships whose recognition provide understanding and prompt further inquiry. Experiences develop understanding and ability. The goal of knowledge and understanding is always to develop practical useful skills and approaches to life. This constitutes an experimental and practical approach to faith, which is true faith, not the phony contrived faith of one seeking to persuade others with empty words and deeds.
As with the physical, so it is with the spiritual. There is no denying the Biblical writer's observation that we "compare spiritual things with (previously experienced and observed) spiritual things." We develop "from grace to grace" and "from faith to faith." There is no leap of faith that did not consist of many incremental steps. There is no giant of faith who did not begin in spiritual birth and infancy. And there is no great act of faith that was not preceded by many small, seemingly insignificant acts. For by such (and always in obscurity) is strength, consistency, and fullness of character (true greatness) developed.
This site devoted to expanding the vista of true spirituality. You should find here ideas that challenge and perhaps even threaten your peace of mind. Good. A vast realm (of experience and understanding) lies just beyond the veil. The veil hides the evil as well as the good. Blinders must therefore be removed to both good and evil. Decisions and actions must be taken with eyes open and aware of their risks.
If I haven't provided anything challenging or new, well then you should be teaching me. You will find that I am open to different viewpoints if not easily persuaded. Email me at [email protected]. This site is under construction, so "Ya'll come back now, hear?"
